Winter activities in vaughan
When the weather gets colder sometimes it seems like there just isn’t as much to do so you’re stuck in the house until the warmer temperatures come back. In Vaughan, though, that just isn’t true. Whether you’re looking for some recreational skating or just something to get the family out of the house on a Saturday, there are definitely enough activities to keep you, and your family, busy this winter.
Boyd Conservation Area
This area is located right in the city of Vaughan, at 8739 Islington Avenue, so it’s a very unique natural setting in the middle of an urban centre. The south end of this area is filled with trails that become ideal for cross country skiing or snowshoeing once the snow falls. Some of these trails go through large open spaces, while others are through the forests of this conservation area. The trees of this area provide a quiet and relaxing space where you can just enjoy nature – even when it snows.
